	Spring seeds Purpose:To teach children how and why seeds sprout and that they grow into plants. Materials: Lima bean seeds; wet paper towels; zip-lock plastic bags.
	Spring plants Purpose: Year 1 curriculum aims: Life processes and living things; the processes of life. Materials: A selection of plants and flowers with different leaf shapes, some with flowers and some runner bean seeds.
